kentweddingphotographeroftheyear2014
My work ethos pushes me to work tirelessly all day ensuring you receive the most complete wedding album possible. I believe it is this approach which has won me the much coveted prize of Kent Wedding Photographer of the Year 2014. I work throughout Kent, London, and the home counties as well as travelling further afield where requested. I work closely with my second photographer Edward on most weddings to ensure all aspects of your wedding day are properly captured. I love my job and hopefully this comes through in the work you will see here.

Maddi & George

Whilst we often have the right to complain about the British weather Maddi and George had every reason to rejoice when unseasonably warm weather graced the day for this Indian summer wedding in mid September. Nonsuch Mansion was the perfect venue in which to get married on this very special day.

Lindsey & Bryn

Great people are the key to a great wedding. I was lucky enough to be asked to cover the wedding for Lindsey and Bryn at Prested Hall. A beautiful venue, a stunning bride, an outdoor wedding, and rain. What could possibly go wrong? It is amazing the British spirit in the face of adversity and as you will see everyone pulled together when the heavens opened.

Jo & Tom

Sometimes the simplest weddings can prove to be the most time consuming to put on and the most fun to photography. Jo and Tom converted a farmyard barn into a wedding venue, they made everything themselves, oh and Jo was 8 months pregnant. This was one of the most fun weddings I have ever covered.

Everything Else I Love To Photograph

Kind Words

We hired Nicholas Hill Photography after agonising about photographers for a while and we could not be more delighted with our decision. We had numerous meetings with Nick prior to the wedding including him visiting our venue twice including on our Rehersal to ensure he knew every aspect of our church which was hugely important to us. Our engagement shoot was phenomenal and really prepared us for being in front of the camera on the day... we ended up loving the shoot so much that we choose one image to be our guestbook. On the day having Nick and Ed at our wedding was a pleasure and they helped make the day go so smoothly and actually it felt like we had friends as well as photographers there. We are blown away with our photo’s from the day and the album we created just proves that having Nicholas Hill photograph your wedding is a premium experience from first meeting to the finished product!

I cannot recommend Nicholas Hill Photography enough! From our first meeting with Nick everything was so easy and straight forward, the hardest thing was deciding what we wanted! We had our engagement shoot which was included in our package and were very grateful for this as we aren’t supermodels. I’ve never thought of myself as photogenic but I loved all my wedding photos and all my guests have commented on how beautiful the photos are. Anyone can take a photo but Nick captures a memory. If you need a photographer it won’t be the same without Nicholas Hill - thanks for everything. Perfection in a photo!
